About CEADS

Consortium for Energy and Data Science (CEADS) is an organization platform on which TAMU faculty-student teams interact with industrial or nonprofit members for promoting research, education, and workforce development at the intersecting area of energy and data science.

CEADS is co-administrated by Texas A&M Energy Institute (TAMEI) and Texas A&M Institute of Data Science (TAMIDS). This initiative brings the power of data, computing, and analytics to tackle the biggest challenges of the energy sector transformation: decarbonization, electrification, and decentralization. CEADS means to address these societal challenges through innovative research and education activities hand-in-hand collaboration with industrial and government partners.
